As an Account Strategist at Yeager you are an expert in creating client marketing strategies, programs, and deliverables that are collaboratively developed through our internal team. Continually building and improving best practices for marketing technology products and services, you are responsible for understanding each client’s business, as well as doing research, analyzing data and project metrics, creating and presenting client strategies, and growing client relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams to oversee project delivery. This leader provides project guidance for our teams to deliver mutually successful projects with our clients; the Account Strategist inspires trust, deepens client relationships, and supports Yeager’s revenue goals. This role requires proven marketing acumen, strong intellectual curiosity, and is highly motivated to drive client success and relationships forward. You will monitor existing client opportunities and make recommendations to help increase revenue and margins, along with cultivating a strong and productive relationship with clients, partners, and internal teams.
What will you do as an Account Strategist?
- Oversee and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts
- Understand the growth drivers for each company, identify opportunities for Yeager to support their goals, and develop strategies, programs, and services offerings that our clients will value
- Meet the annual, quarterly, and monthly account growth plans and revenue targets for assigned accounts
- Build and present marketing strategies, programs, and services to clients
- Support our internal teams while they execute on your strategies and plans
- Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships and promote other Yeager Marketing products
- Identify key client stakeholders and consult with customers proactively to support quarterly and annual marketing discussions and budgets
- Research and suggest new product offerings based on market and client buying trends
- Work with other members of the Accounts team on how to effectively sell new product offerings and mentor them on how to grow their account relationships
- Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals utilizing business intelligence and performance data from internal tools to develop recommendations for driving your clients’ KPIs
- Create trusted relationships with clients through transparent conversations, regular communication, incredible results, innovative solutions, and an exceptionally high level of customer service
- Help develop and present complex strategies and annual plans that drive accounts forward
- Provide oversight on projects managed by the internal team to stay aligned on client/project goals

Requirements for the Role
- Bachelor’s degree minimum
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Technology Marketing and/or Account Strategy required
- 3+ years experience in the B2B technology industry – either with an agency or brand
- Proven experience meeting individual revenue and sales targets
- Experience managing an enterprise tech portfolio and demonstrated ability to achieve revenue quotas to drive growth
- Understanding of performance analytics and ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and actionable next steps
- Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Efficiency with online sales research databses, email, and CRM (HubSpot preferred)
