The Account Strategist manages Yeager client accounts. They serve as the primary point of contact and oversee the strategic direction of the account. Responsibilities for the role include scoping new business and developing proposals, as well as ensuring projects are implemented to scope. Yeager Account Strategists are savvy on marketing strategy and implementation tactics to meet specific goals.  Daily contact with clients is a key part of the job, so the ability to offer well-conceived, creative and forward-thinking marketing ideas is essential. The Account Strategist role maintains a quarterly revenue goal and is eligible for a financial incentive when the goal is achieved and exceeded.

Your days will be filled doing interesting, fulfilling work including:

  • Management of clients, including directing projects and campaigns
  • Providing proactive guidance to clients on marketing strategies and tactics
  • Continually offering innovative ideas to clients
  • Proactive leadership that encourages teams to perform at a high level
  • Regular communication and liaison with clients at a senior level
  • Gathering client feedback and report to the team
  • Generating accurate reports and client project forecasts
  • Using your knowledge and skills to push clients, the team and the agency in the most productive direction
  • Attend and facilitate all status meetings, client meetings and client calls
  • Lead formal and informal presentations to clients and internal team members
  • Occasional travel to visit clients and partners

Yeager Account Strategists needs a wide range of skills such as:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • 5 + years in professional client relationship management
  • A solid, background of demonstrated marketing success
  • Ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong understanding of all marketing vehicles (digital and traditional)
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Effective team management capabilities
  • Attention to detail and budgetary restraints
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques
  • The willingness to note relevant trends and develop ideas
  • The ability to work as a leader in a busy team
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of the technology industry

This position is based in the home office (Phoenix, AZ).
