As an Account Manager, you will be joining our growing agency. You will be an integral team member responsible for building client relationships through regular, proactive and value-added communication. You will be responsible for driving client satisfaction through successful project completion by working closely with your Project Manager. You should be familiar with all aspects of traditional and digital marketing and be able to show a track record of successful outcomes with account management and performance. The ideal candidate will have client-facing account management experience, preferably in the B2B technology industry.

Working within best practices, you will be responsible for developing client relationships and growing a portfolio of accounts. This position will be responsible for communicating client expectations to internal team members and ensuring final client deliverables exceed those expectations. You will proactively keep the client up-to-date on project status and performance, suggest complementary Yeager products, and forecast, manage and track account metrics and growth.

Your days will be filled doing interesting, fulfilling work including:

  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts
  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
  • Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our deliverables according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to these requests
  • Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
  • Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our products
  • Responsible for working with the Senior Manager, Account Strategy to identify accounts with strategic marketing needs
  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams

Yeager Account Managers need a wide range of skills such as:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing and/or combined years of relevant experience preferred
  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience with agency background preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at mid-levels of the organization
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and deadlines
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of website development, marketing, measurement and analytics, content management, digital marketing and internet technology
  • Excellent time and project management skills. You’re consistently looking to improve inefficient processes.

This position is based in the home office (Phoenix, AZ). Occasional telecommuting available.
