Account Strategist

We are looking for an Account Strategist to be an expert in creating client marketing strategies that are collaboratively executed through our internal team. Continually building and improving Yeager Best Practices for marketing technology products and services, they will be responsible for doing extensive research on each client’s business, analyzing data and project metrics, creating and presenting client strategies, and growing client relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Our ideal candidate empowers project leads with an ownership mindset to maintain strategy alignment with our internal teams and provide project guidance that exceeds our clients’ important goals. By creating the blueprint for our teams to deliver mutually successful projects with our clients, the Account Strategist will inspire trust, deepen client relationships and support Yeager’s revenue goals. The right candidate possesses expert marketing acumen but operates with strong intellectual curiosity and is highly motivated to drive client relationships forward. The Account Strategist will work directly with internal teams to help support and grow their own strategic client relationships. They will monitor existing client opportunities and make recommendations to help increase revenue and margins, along with cultivating a strong and productive relationship with clients, partners and internal teams.

What will you do as an Account Strategist with the Yeager team?

  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying marketing opportunities for growth, managing risks and creating strategic plans for achievement.
  • Create and present marketing strategies that further our clients’ goals.
  • Support our internal teams while they execute on your plans and ensure accountability to meet or exceed goals while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer experience to meet the client’s goals.
  • Communicate with customers proactively; share and collaborate with internal team members and vendors on new product development.
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships, tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Yeager Marketing products.
  • Identify key client stakeholders and consult with customers proactively to support quarterly and annual marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Research and suggest new product offerings based on market and client buying trends.
  • Work with other members of the Accounts team on how to effectively sell new product offerings and mentor them on how to grow their account relationships.
  • Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals utilizing business intelligence and performance data from internal tools to develop recommendations for driving your clients’ KPIs.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Supports business development and client service leaders in large proposals.
  • Create trusted relationships with clients through transparent conversations, regular communication, incredible results, innovative solutions, and an exceptionally high level of customer service.
  • Help develop and present complex strategies and annual plans that drive accounts forward.
  • Provide oversight on projects managed by the internal team to stay aligned on client/project goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing and/or combined years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Technology Marketing and/or Account Strategy required – preferably within large information technology organizations
  • Proven experience meeting individual revenue and sales targets
  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Experience managing an enterprise tech portfolio and demonstrated ability to achieve revenue quotas to drive growth

Partner Marketing Program Manager – Contract to Hire

This position is up to a 3 month contract (1099 Contractor) with the opportunity for hire at the end of the contract period. 

Yeager is currently searching for a Partner Marketing Program Manager to join our team. This person will be on the Accounts team, manage a portfolio of our client’s partners to assess their unique needs and goals, educate and implement partner programs sold by the Yeager Account Managers and Strategists, and deliver insights on program performance. Your role will be both external (client and partner-facing) and internal as you support many cross-functional initiatives. You will develop relationships to ensure our client’s partners have a trusted resource they can rely on to clearly explain marketing tactics and strategies as well as communicate campaign or program status and performance.

What will you do as a Partner Marketing Program Manager?

  • Manage a portfolio of supplier partners via regular engagement to drive partner marketing program adoption and success
  • Educate partners on the programs available and guide them through the execution and success of their selected program to maximize brand awareness and lead generation
  • Become an expert in the latest partner marketing programs and communicate effectively to our client’s partners. Work with various internal teams to unlock unique opportunities for your portfolio
  • Identify key metrics to evaluate data both quantitatively and qualitatively. Streamline operational workflow by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks

Project Lead

Summary/Objective

The Project Lead is responsible for organizing, leading, and executing client projects efficiently and effectively. This individual will work with our account strategy and management teams to successful implement their project plans. This person has a proven record of success in managing a diverse portfolio of projects with a clear understanding of marketing fundamentals and marketing projects specifically. Assigned projects can vary from single pieces of collateral to multifaceted, multichannel marketing campaigns. The successful candidate can identify all tasks that need to be completed, and then strategically delegate those tasks within the project, while creating and managing detailed schedules throughout the duration of the project to the appropriate team members. In addition, they will provide coaching and guidance to internal team members and external freelancers, vendors, and contractors; making and relaying decisions on the direction of every aspect of the project so that team members can understand their requirements and act on them efficiently and correctly.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate the process and the execution of projects across production teams while interfacing with clients.
  • Document the scope of work and validate that all assigned projects can be completed within the required timeline and budget.
  • Develop and maintain step-by-step project plans, budgets, and schedules for each project.
  • Organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies.
  • Manage the full life cycle of projects from initiation through completion.
  • Oversee day-to-day project execution and identify | resolve potential challenges.
  • Execute change control when requests for additional scope are made.
  • Provide Quality Assurance on all projects and their deliverables, maintaining the highest standards for quality.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget project deliverables.
  • Provide weekly status reports and daily updates to the team.
  • Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Set a positive example for Project Managers; coaching in best practices to help elevate the team.

Skills Required

  • A deep understanding of the project lead role, marketing fundamentals and marketing projects; experience in the technology sector of B2B marketing a plus.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time with varying degrees of complexity.
  • Collaborative: Ability to build and maintain strong internal and client relationships.

Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. The employee frequently communicates with staff, clients, and vendors. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer. Occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs. for various projects.

Position Type/Work Hours

This is a full-time position, and office hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

This is an office-based role that will require occasional travel to visit clients.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 8+ years in project lead role, marketing, or operations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMI) certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of project lead processes, workflow, and terminology
  • Preferred experience with data analytics | metrics tools, website usability and architecture.
  • Experience with Google Drive, Adobe Pro, project management software and scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience leading teams to develop marketing campaigns, content, and strategic marketing projects – work samples preferred.
