Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you are an integral team member responsible for managing and growing your assigned accounts through regular, proactive, and value-added communication. You demonstrate marketing acumen with a broad range of traditional and digital marketing and can show a track record of successful outcomes working as part of an account or marketing team. The ideal candidate has client facing account management experience, preferably in the B2B technology industry. Working within best practices, you are responsible for developing client relationships and growing a portfolio of accounts. You work with your clients to understand their marketing challenges, suggest Yeager products and solutions to address their needs, and work with our Account Strategy team to develop custom strategies and programs. You are responsible for annual, quarterly, and monthly account planning as well as forecasting, managing, and tracking account metrics and growth. This position carries a revenue goal, and you are incentivized to achieve your goal.

What will you do as an Account Manager with the Yeager team?

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts
  • Nurture and deepen client relationships within your assigned accounts
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly account growth plans
  • Proactively schedule strategic planning and brainstorm meetings with accounts each month
  • Grow accounts through net new contact referrals and social selling
  • Build relationships through interactions on LinkedIn, gift giving, client visits, etc.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our products
  • Upsell relevant Yeager offerings
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts and customer stakeholders
  • Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers
  • Liaise between the customer and internal teams
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Enhance department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value

Account Strategist

The Account Strategist is an expert in creating client marketing strategies that are collaboratively executed through our internal team. Continually building and improving Yeager Best Practices for marketing technology products and services, they will be responsible for working with their Account Manager(s) to understand each client’s business, as well as doing research, analyzing data and project metrics, creating and presenting client strategies, and growing client relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This leader empowers project leads with an ownership mindset to maintain strategy alignment with our internal teams and provide project guidance that exceeds our clients’ important goals. By developing the blueprint for our teams to deliver mutually successful projects with our clients, the Account Strategist inspires trust, deepens client relationships and supports Yeager’s revenue goals. This role requires expert marketing acumen but operates with strong intellectual curiosity and is highly motivated to drive client relationships forward. They also work in partnership with their Account Managers to help support and grow their own strategic client relationships. They monitor existing client opportunities and make recommendations to help increase revenue and margins, along with cultivating a strong and productive relationship with clients, partners, and internal teams.

What will you do as an Account Strategist with the Yeager team?

  • Oversee and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts with your Account Manager(s).
  • Understand the goals and growth drivers for each company, identify opportunities for Yeager to support their goals, and develop strategies, programs, and services offerings that our clients will value.
  • Meet the annual, quarterly, and monthly account growth plans and revenue targets for assigned accounts with your Account Manager(s).
  • Build and present marketing strategies, programs, and services to clients.
  • Support our internal teams while they execute on your plans and ensure accountability to meet or exceed goals while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer experience to meet the client’s goals
  • Communicate with customers proactively; share and collaborate with internal team members and vendors on new product development
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships, tailor and share performance enhancing suggestions and promote other Yeager Marketing products
  • Identify key client stakeholders and consult with customers proactively to support quarterly and annual marketing discussions and budgets
  • Research and suggest new product offerings based on market and client buying trends.
  • Work with other members of the Accounts team on how to effectively sell new product offerings and mentor them on how to grow their account relationships
  • Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals utilizing business intelligence and performance data from internal tools to develop recommendations for driving your clients’ KPIs
  • Supports business development and client service leaders in large proposals

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing and/or combined years of relevant experience
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Technology Marketing and/or Account Strategy required – preferably within large information technology organizations
  • 3+ years experience in the B2B technology industry – either with an agency or brand.
  • Proven experience meeting individual revenue and sales targets
  • Experience managing an enterprise tech portfolio and demonstrated ability to achieve revenue quotas to drive growth
  • Understanding of performance analytics and ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and actionable next steps
  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

B2B Freelance Senior Content Writers (Tech)

We are looking for creative and collaborative senior content writers (contract) to create original, engaging content for B2B tech audiences, marketers, and clients. Our ideal candidates are individuals with exceptional writing skills, a strategic mindset, and a get-it-done attitude who are excited to take a deep-dive into complex topics and bring them to life for B2B tech buyers.

Project Lead

Summary/Objective

The Project Lead is responsible for organizing, leading, and executing client projects efficiently and effectively. This individual will work with our account strategy and management teams to successful implement their project plans. This person has a proven record of success in managing a diverse portfolio of projects with a clear understanding of marketing fundamentals and marketing projects specifically. Assigned projects can vary from single pieces of collateral to multifaceted, multichannel marketing campaigns. The successful candidate can identify all tasks that need to be completed, and then strategically delegate those tasks within the project, while creating and managing detailed schedules throughout the duration of the project to the appropriate team members. In addition, they will provide coaching and guidance to internal team members and external freelancers, vendors, and contractors; making and relaying decisions on the direction of every aspect of the project so that team members can understand their requirements and act on them efficiently and correctly.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate the process and the execution of projects across production teams while interfacing with clients.
  • Document the scope of work and validate that all assigned projects can be completed within the required timeline and budget.
  • Develop and maintain step-by-step project plans, budgets, and schedules for each project.
  • Organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies.
  • Manage the full life cycle of projects from initiation through completion.
  • Oversee day-to-day project execution and identify | resolve potential challenges.
  • Execute change control when requests for additional scope are made.
  • Provide Quality Assurance on all projects and their deliverables, maintaining the highest standards for quality.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget project deliverables.
  • Provide weekly status reports and daily updates to the team.
  • Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Set a positive example for Project Managers; coaching in best practices to help elevate the team.

Skills Required

  • A deep understanding of the project lead role, marketing fundamentals and marketing projects; experience in the technology sector of B2B marketing a plus.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time with varying degrees of complexity.

Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. The employee frequently communicates with staff, clients, and vendors. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer. Occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs. for various projects.

Position Type/Work Hours

This is a full-time position, and office hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

This is an office-based role that will require occasional travel to visit clients.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 8+ years in project lead role, marketing, or operations.
  • Project Management Professional (PMI) certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of project lead processes, workflow, and terminology
  • Preferred experience with data analytics | metrics tools, website usability and architecture.
  • Experience with Google Drive, Adobe Pro, project management software and scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience leading teams to develop marketing campaigns, content, and strategic marketing projects – work samples preferred.
